Title: Goodbye, Rebel Blue
Author: Shelley Coriell
Release Date: October 1st, 2013
Release Date: October 1st, 2013
Publisher: Amulet Books
A young adult novel about bucket lists and boys, death and destiny.I feel like, by this point, you all know how much I LOVED Welcome Caller, This is Chloe. I may or may not have done a guest post on Molli's blog AND a review on my own blog about it. It's actually one of the few books I've read TWICE in the past year (okay, maybe the second time was spurred by the post I did for Molli but I WANTED to do it). Talk about a cover that caught me and wouldn't let me go until I picked it up (EVEN THOUGH THERE'S A FACE ON IT. CRAZY).
Rebecca "Rebel" Blue, a loner rebel and budding artist, reluctantly completes the bucket list of Kennedy Green, an over-committed do-gooder classmate who dies in a car accident following a stint in detention where both girls were forced to consider their morality and write bucket lists. In this hilarious and life-changing journey, Rebel meets up with a nice boy, a gimpy dolphin, and a past she's tried to forget as this bad girl tries to do good.

So basically, when I found out Shelley Coriell had another book coming out in October, I pretty much flipped. I held out on making it my Waiting on Wednesday post until now because there wasn't a cover for a while and I wanted to wait until October got closer, BUT I COULD NOT STOP MYSELF. Partially because this cover is just as amazing, if not more amazing, than Chloe's cover. Partially because OMG AMAZINGTOWN SUMMARY.
Moral of story? I wants it.
Did you guys love Chloe as much as I did? Have you not READ Chloe? If not, you should do that before Rebel Blue takes center stage. Not because the books are related or anything, but because IT'S AWESOME. Wait, are you still reading these words? If so, you are DOING THE WRONG THING. So leave me an "I'M EXCITED" comment and GET OUT OF HERE.
(BTDUBS: Reading Chloe is totally the right thing you should be doing, in case you were wondering.)
