5 Reasons to Read SOMETHING STRANGE AND DEADLY + Giveaway!

Oh HIIIIIIII it's time for a giveaway of one of my faaaavorite series, SOMETHING STRANGE AND DEADLY by Susan Dennard.

In case you missed it and you need to re-read all my reviews of this series (y'know, as proof that you need to read), here's a list of the words I posted on my blog previous to now about this series:

But, y'know what? I hear some people don't like to read reviews before/after they read a book and I know all about this TL;DR business, so I'm just going to quickly give you FIVE brief reasons why you should not only want to read this series, but also enter the giveaway below.

1. THE SWOONS
I thought about making this not the first reason but then Daniel tapped me on the should and said, "Hey Girl..." and I was like, oh, right. But seriously: the romance + kissing + tension is so perfect you'll find me day dreaming/drooling/humming about it. (Yeah, that's right, this series is so good it makes me less normal than I usually am.)

2. ELEANOR
Our leading lady is DEFINITELY not a simpering Victorian lady. She kicks major butt and, while she's got plenty to learn, she can handle herself.

3. WANDERLUST
Philly --> France --> Egypt. Three books, three countries, three times my brain was like "BOOK AND FLIGHT AND GO SOMEWHERE, WOMAN."

4. THE MYTHOLOGY
At first you're like... zombies? And then you're like NEC.RO.MAN.CY. This book goes there and back. It's gross and twisted and amazing. (And I'm not even the kinda girl who likes gross things!)

5. NO ONE IS SAFE
You heard me. NO. ONE. IS. SAFE. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife... and brace yourself because this book is going to punch you in the feels in the best way, I swear.

And if these five things weren't enough, you should check out Betty's review of SOMETHING STRANGE AND DEADLY. I pushed it on her. She was grateful. So grateful, in fact, that she made a Vine at the cemetery from book 1. Said Vine has endlessly entertained me for close to a year now.

But seriously, guys, I was so invested in this series I read books 1 + 2 one right after the other. Then I got my hands on an ARC of book 3 last winter and KNEW I had to read it immediately. So I did. (And I never do that - I almost always way until pub date's a whole lot closer.) I had such a hangover when it was finished. I was ruined for all other books for weeks - nay, a month. Which is obviously something everyone should have happen to them at least once in their lives.

So, in order to pass on the hangover, I'm giving away paperback finished copies of SOMETHING STRANGE AND DEADLY and A DARKNESS STRANGE AND LOVELY, as well as an ARC of STRANGE AND EVER AFTER.
