You haven't read Siege and Storm yet?....Please remedy that immediately :)
ReplyDeleteI too decided it was best to stick to books I already had on my to-read list! If you've read Anna and the French Kiss, I think you'll love Lola and the Boy Next Door. It was nice to see a return of some of the same characters, and the book was great in its own right!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh siege and storm is SOOOOO good

The Darkest Minds was fantastic! I still have to read Wishing, Amy & Roger, and Forgive Me as well! Looking forward to getting to those!
ReplyDeleteSiege and Storm AND Second Chance Summer?! Are you trying to kill me with this list? They're some of my absolute faaaaaavorites and omg, you must text me when you read them. I also adored Amy & Roger and Lola, so I'm very excited for you. You need to tell me how The Darkest Minds is, and... I WANT YOUR ARC OF JUST ONE YEAR GIVE IT TO MEEEEEEEEE! (no, read it first, but I wants it, why is it not released yet I can't handle waiting)

YOU HAVEN'T READ SIEGE AND STORM YET?!?! GIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRL!! NO COOKIES FOR YOU. YOU DESERVE NOTHING UNTIL YOU ACQUAINT YOURSELF WITH STURMHOND IMMEDIATELY.
ReplyDeleteCurtsies & Conspiracies and Siege & Storm are on my TBR as well. I'm super excited to get to both. I have an ARC of S&S (and, you know, it's already out), so I guess I could start that one at any time.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like Lola! I liked Anna a bit more, but they're both very good. I'm juiced for Isla to come out. I neeeeed it.
I just got Second Chance Summer in the mail today. I can't believe I didn't include it in my list. Sigh. I really hope you like Amy and Roger's Epic Detour!
I'm in the minority for SIEGE AND STORM (didn't like it too much), and I want to read AMY & ROGER'S EPIC DETOUR, too! And LOLA AND THE BOY NEXT DOOR is really good--be sure to read it!

Seige and Storm! I hope you love it (and HIM) as much as I do... or better yet probably not so I can have him to myself :P
ReplyDeleteI needs Lola in my life now. Don't know how I managed to resist buying it at Foyles the other day.
I have The Darkest Minds but haven't read the first book yet. Looking forward to changing that :) Hope you love Lola, one of my faves!
ReplyDeleteYou have some awesome books on your pile. I hope you get to at least a few of them! Good luck. I am the opposite, by putting only upcoming releases on my list, I have a pretty good track record. So far I've done a Spring and a Summer list, (fall today), and I've finished 16.5 of them. I am not counting the 10 from today since they're not released yet!

Bardugo is on my list in like forever! Still waiting for our library to purchase a copy. Great list you have here & I love that it's all in print. My poor eyes are failing because of my tablet's glare. Eep!

I love both of Morgan Matson's books, so I hope you love them as well! I really want to read The Darkest Minds, I've heard amazing things about the series, and that makes me super excited to get round to read them.
ReplyDeleteLolaaaaa. I still have to read my copy of it. You better text me your feels on Second Chance Summer as soon as you read it because that book is AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteGaaah, Amy & Roger's Epic Detour is ah-mazing! I've yet to read Second Chance Summer, though.
ReplyDeleteForgive Me, Leonard Peacock sounds like a very interesting book to me.
I'm in the middle of The Book of Broken Hearts right now and it's pretty sweet so far. I also want to pick up The Darkest Minds - I tried before, but I must not have been in the mood for it at the time. Everyone says it's good though, so I'm determined to give it another shot. :D
ReplyDeleteThe Darkest Minds and Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock are easily some of my favourite 2013 releases! They are so interesting and amazing, get cracking! Great picks :)
ReplyDeleteawesome list! alot of these are on my to read list :) Feel free to check out my list over at thewishfullamb.com
ReplyDeleteGIIIIIRL. Siege and Storm AND Morgan Matson?!?! You are in for a treat!!
ReplyDeleteSECOND CHANCE SUMMER!!!!! OMG, one of the bestest books EVER! Although, it seems like a book that's best read when the weather summer-ish outside, so you might want to dive into that one before it gets too, too fall-ish.
